Every year, the Philippines experiences several disasters and calamities, either natural or man-made, bringing death and destruction to affected areas. OB quickly responds to the needs of affected families through relief distribution and rehabilitation.
Affected families are given relief assistance in the form of essential food items, blankets, sleeping mats, toiletries, clothing, and other necessities. In some instances, medical missions are also conducted addressing the health needs of affected communities.
To help the survivors cope with the emotional trauma of the tragedy and carry on with their lives, OB provides crisis counseling, livelihood opportunities, and assistance for the reconstruction of damaged houses and the construction of new ones. Affected churches are also helped repaired or rebuilt.
