Many young children today are deprived of a home and basic necessities, either due to extreme poverty and/or the absence or early death of their parents. Depending on the needs of the children in the communities it serves, Operation Blessing develops programs that impart love and instill hope among the future generation. These include gift-giving, summer school programs, and kids' camp.
Holiday of Hope and Cheers: This program imparts the true meaning of Christmas and Easter to orphans, indigent children, special children, the elderly, prison inmates (We’re talking about kids in this program and the elderly and the inmates do not qualify as children ), children of missionaries, and dependents of soldiers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines through gift-giving, games, film showing, Bible story-telling and puppet shows.
Happy Kids Camp: Operation Blessing initiates kids’ camps in various communities during summer. With the help of local churches, OB gathers children for a week-long camp filled with fun games and activities.
Vacation Bible School: This program is one of the best ways by which Operation Blessing reaches out to children and pre-schoolers, especially during summer. OB provides VBS materials which local churches use to teach kids Bible stories, songs, and arts and crafts.
